My good friend behind Ball Coffee Co. has introduced these four tables as part of his new furniture line, Kalou Canada! Aptly named the Rook, Bobina, and I-Beam, these stunning works of art were a pleasure to photograph in my “home” studio. It was a fun challenge to make the most of my 750SF condo with an external flash and seamless paper (and a little Photoshop!). Product photography is a lot of fun.

A friend of mine recently launched Ball Coffee Co., a Toronto-based coffee bean company that offers free 48-hour delivery to almost anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area. Their beans are sustainably sourced from Peru, Brazil, and Ethiopia, and artfully roasted here in Toronto. I was asked to photograph some promo images for their website and social media, and it was just what I needed to feel excited to be behind my camera again. These images were created using four sheets of white foam core and my Godox V1 Flash.
