London in 35mm

This past June I was in London for work, and wow - I am in love (again). This was my first time back in London since 2012, and I forgot just how exciting this city is. There is so much to do and so much to see! I stayed at the Athenaeum Hotel in Mayfair, a short walk from my office, and felt like a true Londoner walking to and from work each day. The weather was perfect - not too hot! - and I was able to squeeze in a ton of activities during my free time. I visited the Tate Britain and Tate Modern, where I saw the phenomenal Hilma af Klint and Piet Mondrian exhibit. I ate at amazing restaurants such as Isabel Mayfair, Sketch, and the Brasserie of Light. The National Portrait Gallery had just reopened the week I arrived, and I had the opportunity to attend a work event there, which was so cool! I also finally got to check out Choosing Keeping and Dover Street Market, two shops that have been on my list for ages. I even saw some friends and family who live in the UK, which was just so lovely. Although it was only a four day trip, I felt like I truly got a taste of what life could be like over there. I can’t wait to go back!
