Playing with my Pentax Zoom 105-R

I recently won a Pentax Zoom 105-R film camera in a Downtown Camera Mystery Box and I absolutely love it! Point and shoot film cameras are great; not only are they easy to use, but their functional simplicity and compact size encourage you to bring them with you everywhere. Lately, I’ve found inspiration in the works of Daido Moriyama, a Japanese street photographer whose advice to “take photographs - of anything and everything, whatever catches your eye. Don’t pause to think” truly lends itself to the importance of point and shoot cameras. In a world where everyone is after the perfect photograph, snapshot photography is a welcome change.

These images were taken with Kodak Pro Image 100 and Kodak Ultramax 400.
