The Toronto Christmas Market is my favourite part of celebrating the holidays in Toronto. Located in the historic Distillery District, the savoury smell of schnitzel and sausage wafting through the air makes you feel as if you are exploring a quaint European town.

I spent the end of 2013 exploring the Lower Mainland in British Columbia, visiting my boyfriend and his family, who live in White Rock. One of my favourite spots we discovered was Deep Cove, located in North Vancouver. Although it was a foggy January afternoon, the silence and beauty of the landscape was utterly breathtaking.
